It's the rustle of fallen leaves underfoot and the sound of rain on a tin roof. It's the island-shaped birthmark, and the scooter crash scars you got during a night out with your loved ones. It's the flat tire in the middle of the night, forcing you to walk with your friends and discover hidden spots you wouldn't have found otherwise. It's the way the light filters through the trees, the way dirt smells after a quick rain, and a storm that forms just before a perfect sunset.
It's the way that time has left its mark on everything, and it's about finding beauty in those things. It's about living in the present, accepting the impermanence, and finding solace in the simple things.
I seek to those moments and I try to turn the intangible into something that lingers.
